June 28, 2017 Flag Placement – Army Major Kevin Loughnane

At the Northampton Township Board of Supervisors meeting of June 28th we recognized and honored for the 3rd time Army Major Kevin Loughnane who is one of our Northampton Patriots. His parents, Pat and Bill Loughnane, once again placed his Army flag in our flag display where it will lie in wait until we can again return it to him when he comes back stateside to claim it.

Kevin had deployed twice before, the first time back in August 2009 to Iraq and we returned his Army flag on July 28, 2010. The second time to Afghanistan February 2012 and we returned his Army flag on March 27, 2013. Both times the Army flag was replaced with a US flag. Kevin, now an Army Major, deployed in March.
