"What originally started as a small manufacturing/repair shop on Jewelers Row in Philadelphia has progressed into the family jewelry business we are today," Margolin continued.

With 27 years in the making, Margolin & Co. has established itself in the community as a trusted, high-quality family jeweler for the residents of Northampton Township and beyond. 

"Word of mouth is our main source of referrals," Margolin explained, adding that most of the store’s customers come by way of recommendations from friends or family members. These satisfied customers have nothing but praise for the quality, value and personal attention offered to each and every person who enters the store. 

Margolin’s father started the business, and when David decided to go into retail after college, together they opened their first retail location on Chestnut Street in 1992. With subsequent changes in the city and in their own lives, they chose Richboro as the best place for their new suburban site.

Besides the enormous collection of jewelry that the store offers, Margolin prides himself on customer service.

"We value our customers’ loyalty," he said. "The most important aspect of our business is making each purchase a memorable one."

Margolin added that he loves unique, one-of-a-kind pieces and travels all over the country to seek out the most extraordinary and uncommon jewelry. He is a Gemological Institute of America (GIA) graduate who has a degree in diamond grading, so specializing in the best quality diamonds and gemstones is his forte.

"Every piece that leaves our store is made with the utmost care and dedication to excellence," he said, assuring that the final product is "always outstanding."

Margolin said that he recognizes his pieces by the quality of the piece and that he often doesn’t need to see a receipt to know that a piece was sold or manufactured at his store.

The biggest success of Margolin’s life has been his marriage, he said.

"Without a happy home life, there can never be a happy, successful business. Since my wife and I built this store from the ground up, we consider it our 'other' child. We treat it as our second home," he said.
