On Dec. 16 Scout Troop 29 honored Gus Cales for his representing the MCL Patriot Detachment 1230 in the Eagle Scout recognition program. An award was presented to Gus by Troop 29 and Scoutmaster Dave Brown said the following:
“Gus, How nice to have our Eagle Scouts at Troop 29 honor you for all you do to represent the Marine Corps League at countless scouting events throughout the year. We are so lucky to have you as our rep. Thank you for your service to our country and your continued service to our community”.
