Missing Elderly Man Located By Resident In Northampton Neighborhood

Authorities have located the elderly man who had been reported missing Sunday afternoon.

Northampton Township Police Chief Michael Clark thanked the people of Northampton for helping to look for the resident. George was reported missing and was thought to possibly be on foot in Tyler State Park.

Clark thanked the first responders, including the Falls Twp K-9 unit, and the Seconds Alarmers J-9 search and rescue and the Philadelphia Police Department Helicopter unit.

"I would also like to say THANK YOU to Jonathan. Jonathan is a resident of the neighborhood who ultimately found George," Clark said.

Police said the man was transported to the hospital for evaluation.
