Motor Vehicle Theft Warning Issued By Northampton Township Police

Two weeks after four cars were stolen, Northampton police said suspects were captured on camera around vehicles in Holland Saturday.

NORTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, PA —Attempted motor vehicle thefts or thefts from the vehicles themselves continue in Northampton Township, police said in issuing a public information alert.

The Northampton Township Police Department is asking residents to be alert for anyone suspicious around their vehicles, call 911 immediately, and not confront the suspects.

Police reported that at 2:45 a.m. Saturday, numerous suspects were captured on video surveillance in the township's Holland section attempting to enter vehicles to steal items from inside.

Police said the surveillance shows one suspect holding what appears to be a handgun.

Two weeks ago, police reported separate vehicle thefts in Richboro and Ivyland.

Those thefts included three vehicles (Rolls Royce, Bentley and a Lamborghini) were stolen from an Oxford Drive residence in the township's Ivyland section.
