Music of Downton Abbey, 'Charlotte's Web' Among Weekend Events

Plus, author John Dixon will be signing copies of "Phoenix Island" Saturday at the Doylestown Bookshop.

What: A reception to mark the opening of the “Four Friends” exhibit, which features works by local Bucks County artists Deanna Finch-Cohen, John C Deitz, Barbara Rilling and Linda Storione. The evening will feature complimentary wine and hors d'oeuvres, pluse a chance to meet the artists.

WOMEN’S CONFERENCE

What: Start 2014 off right at a women’s conference that will feature three speakers, a tea party, shopping, book signing and more. Speakers include NBC10 reporter LuAnn Cahn, award-winning author Mary Fran Bontempo and Ellen J. Faulkner, co-founder of the Bucks County Psychotherapy Group.

What: The County Theater will screen the children' classic “Charlotte’s Web” as part of its family events series.
