Northampton Township held a ceremony on Veterans Day, November 11th recognizing Veterans and unveiling the Veterans Memorial Paver Bricks. The Veterans Memorial Walk of Honor is in front of the Township Building, 55 Township Rd, Richboro, PA by the Flagpoles and Memorial Monument.
Officiant, Colonel Michael Bodkin – USMC (Ret), opened the ceremony with a Color Guard provided by the Marine Corps League Patriot Detachment followed by Hailey Brown singing the National Anthem. This was followed with an invocation provided by Doug Fulford (NHTP Police Chaplain). The keynote speaker was Chief Petty Officer Sherri Jones USN (Ret).
During the ceremony the following four veterans from the township were honored for inclusion in the ceremony and represented the following Eras: WWII Fred Caldwell (USN), Korea Harry Niemann (USMC), Vietnam Tony Albano (U. S. Army), Iraq/Afghanistan Tom Bodkin (USMC).

Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick made remarks and then presented each honoree with a flag flown in the Capital. After the 30 minute ceremony refreshments and snacks were served for all attendees.
The paver program was put together by Northampton Township’s Veterans Advisory Commission and consists of memorial pavers that may be purchased by or for a resident of Northampton Township or a family member that had served in the Armed Forces of the United States.
