NTPD, Officer Rosowski Awarded Certificates of Appreciation
The certificates were awarded for contributions made during the 2011 calendar year to the PA Aggressive Driving Enforcement and Education Program by its coordinators.

The Northampton Township Police Department and Officer Joseph Rosowski were both awarded Certificates of Appreciation, according to the department's Chief of Police.
The certificates were given in recognition of contributions made in 2011 to the PA Aggressive Driving Enforcement and Education program by its coordinators. The program is a branch of the PA Buckle Up Program, in which the police department is a very active participant.
"As Chief of Police, I am always happy and proud to have an opportunity to recognize the outstanding work accomplished by the officers of our police department," Chief Barry Pilla said in a news release.

"In this case we want to recognize the work done by the members of our uniformed patrol division; and particularly that of Officer Joe Rosowski of the QOL/Traffic Team. Our officers have and continue to demonstrate dedicated, professional due diligence to reduce the number of traffic crashes, aggressive driving and DUI incidents across Northampton Township; and deserve all of the recognition we can give them."
Buckle Up PA is a PennDOT funded project dedicated to raising the seat belt usage level in Pennsylvania through increased enforcement, public awareness and education, according to the program's website. The partnership is comprised of municipal police departments, including Northampton Township Police Department, the Pennsylvania State Police, PennDOT, the US Department of Transportation and community groups and organizations.
