RICHBORO, PA — History will come alive on Saturday when Shirley Corsey, founder of Gather Place in Yardley, presents “Harriet Tubman: Her Life, Her Legacy — A Journey Through Time” from 1 to 2 p.m. in the Community Room at the Northampton Library.

Through powerful storytelling and a historically grounded, first-person portrayal, Corsey will transport audiences through four defining chapters of Harriet Tubman’s life, beginning with her childhood as Araminta “Minty” Ross and continuing through her transformation into the legendary abolitionist, Underground Railroad conductor, and freedom fighter affectionately known as “Moses.”

“Harriet Tubman’s story is more than history. It is a powerful reminder of what courage, faith, determination, and the pursuit of freedom can accomplish,” said Corsey.
