NORTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, PA —Motorists should expect single-lane closures as repairs begin on Richboro Road starting Monday.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said the road work takes place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, Jan. 30, through Friday, Feb. 3, for embankment repair and guide rail installation under a project to repair state highways that sustained damage from the remnants of Hurricane Ida in September 2021.

Motorists should allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns may occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent. They should expect flagging from PennDOT crews as well.
