Scouts From Holland's Troop 147 Take Part in Memorial Day Observance at National Cemertery

As they have done in the past, scouts from Troop 147 joined the Guardians of the National Cemetery to honor those who served.

Scouts from Holland's Troop 147 joined the Guardians of the National Cemetery in Upper Makefield for their Memorial Day observance.

Troop 147 has participated in this event since its inception; this marks the 7th year the troop has attended. Scoutmaster Bob Longmore became aware of the observance through his uncle Joe Longmore who is a member of the Guardian of the Cemetery. In addition to helping with the distribution of red roses at each grave site, they helped present the colors and assisted in leading the Pledge of Allegiance.
