SKD School hosts "Kickball for Kane" & "Pink Out" for beloved teacher diagnosed with breast cancer

On Thursday, June 1st, the St. Katharine Drexel School Community will host a "Pink Out" & "Kickball for Kane" fundraiser.

SAINT KATHARINE DREXEL SCHOOL HOSTING “KICKBALL FOR KANE” & “PINK OUT” FUNDRAISER TO SUPPORT TEACHER RECENTLY DIAGNOSED WITH AGGRESSIVE STAGE OF BREAST CANCER

HOLLAND, PA – May 30, 2017 – On Thursday, June 1st, the St. Katharine Drexel School Community will host a “Pink Out” & “Kickball for Kane” fundraiser on the school campus for their beloved 6th grade teacher who was recently diagnosed with an aggressive stage of breast cancer. Mrs. Karin Kane; a young mother of two children, has been teaching at SKD School for 5 years since its inception as a regional school. Students will show their support for Breast Cancer Awareness by enhancing their school uniform with all things pink on Thursday! At 10:00 AM, the entire SKD school community will gather in the parking lot for a community prayer service and immediately following will be a school wide Kickball tournament. Everyone is encouraged to “think pink” and make a donation to benefit Mrs. Kane and her family during their time of need. All are welcome to attend!

Saint Katharine Drexel Regional Catholic School prides itself on forming leaders through academic excellence, personal discipline and Christian service to one another and the community.
