St. Katharine Drexel School Hosting Five Year Anniversary Celebration with Special Guest Amanda “Amy" Wall

SAINT KATHARINE DREXEL SCHOOL HOSTING FIVE YEAR ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION SPECIAL GUEST AMANDA “AMY” WALL

HOLLAND, PA – February 24, 2017 – On Friday, March 3, 2017 St. Katharine Drexel School will celebrate their five year anniversary as a regional school. Friday also marks the Feast Day of the schools patron saint as they honor their legacy schools of Assumption BVM and St Bede the Venerable. The celebration will start off with a mass at 9:00 AM, followed by guest speakers Amy Wall and her brother Jack – to tell the story of their experience praying to Mother Katharine for her intercession and the miracle that Amy later received in March 1994. Following the guest speakers will be a reception and an Open House until 12:00 PM. All are welcome to attend!

Saint Katharine Drexel Regional Catholic School prides itself on forming leaders through academic excellence, personal discipline and Christian service to one another and the community. The 2012-2013 school year marked a new beginning for the school. It celebrated a new name that honors a miracle that had its roots on the premises, and welcomed the arrival of new students from Assumption BVM Parish, who joined with students from St. Bede the Venerable Parish in Holland, St. Vincent de Paul Parish in Richboro, and surrounding parishes to create an exceptional Catholic elementary school built for the future. St. Katharine Drexel Regional Catholic School, located on the grounds of St. Bede Parish in Holland, Pennsylvania, includes half day and full-day preschool & kindergarten, classrooms for grades 1 through 8, a computer lab, a LabLearner Science Lab, a library, an art room, a cafeteria, and a gymnasium with a stage for the performing arts.
