Stabbing Under Investigation In Northampton Township

NORTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, PA —The Northampton Township Police Department is investigating an assault that involved a stabbing Monday night.

Police said they are seeking the public's help for more information about the incident and the identities of the suspects involved.

Northampton Township Police said the incident took place between 10:30 p.m. and 11 p.m. Monday on Sheffield Place in the Village Shires neighborhood.

Police said the victim required hospitalization for the stabbing. Police did not reveal the seriousness of the stabbing injury or whether the victim was a man or woman.

Police are asking residents to check their surveillance cameras to see if the incident was captured on video.
