A Successful Northampton Veterans Expo Held October 17, 2017

Andrew Gannon hosted a great Veterans event in Northampton

A Northampton Veterans Expo was hosted by Andrew Gannon held October 17. 2017 at the James E. Kinney Senior Center in Richboro, PA. More than 200 veterans and family members attended. The Event Committee was comprised of Chairman Andrew Gannon, Vice Chairman Rachel Christian, Communications Coordinator Pete Palestina, Sponsor Coordinator Kelly Drucker and Vendor Coordinator Katie Gannon. Food Sponsor was Amada Home Healthcare and the Beverage Sponsor was Murray's Richboro Market.

A video presentation was shown by Bucks County Tour of Honor and Recorder of Deeds Joe Szafran detailing upcoming Tours and a POW/MIA Remembrance Recognition was given by Northampton Supervisor and Army Veteran Frank O'Donnell. 33 Vietnam Era Veterans received a commemorative pin from Army Col. (Ret) Larry Rubini and a certificate from James Donahue, President William Penn Chapter AUSA.

In addition to various vendors including the Marine Corps League Patriot Detachment, Travis Manion Foundation, Bucks County Veterans Affairs, Kids Can Make a Change, Career Link, Team Toyota and the Vet Center, Veterans had the opportunity to get a Veterans Discount ID card from the Bucks County Recorder of Deeds.
