There’s Still Time To Catch Fall Festivals Near Northampton Township

NORTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, PA — Fall is a great time to get outside in Northampton Township and take in the rich offering of festivals.

The changing colors of autumn provide a scenic background for fall and harvest festivals, which have contests ranging from apple bobbing and pumpkin carving to lumberjack contests and Halloween parades.

Fall is also the season for corn mazes, apple orchard and pumpkin patch visits.

There are many pumpkin patches to check out around the township.

Before you go, though, don't be surprised if pumpkin prices are on the rise.

Northampton Township recently held its fall festival as part of festivities this year to commemorate its 300th anniversary.

• The Miracle League of Northampton Township is also holding its annual Halloween Bash on Oct. 29.
• Visit Bucks County has 10 perfect places to see the fall foliage.
• The Philadelphia Film Society is showing those vintage monster movies this weekend too.

For those who like haunted tours, there are a few nearby.

• The Landis Ridge Tunnel in Perkasie has stories of ghostly sightings.
• The Historic Langhorne Association is hosting ghost tours through Oct. 30.
