Township Baseball in Full Swing

The "great American pastime" is alive and well in Northampton Township. This weekend was perfect weather for baseball, and Northampton kids' teams were playing ball across the township.

Kids aren't the only ones enjoying the game. Patch saw many parents, family and coaches rooting their team and players,  enjoying some great game moments. There is the thrill of seeing a player hit a home run and bring two players back to home base or runner caught between third base and home and doubling back twice and sliding into home, the pitcher that strikes a player out or the catch of a fly ball in the outfield. There is some serious baseball action and excitement at these local games. You can't help but smile seeing the excitement and cheering when a new team hero steps into the dugout.
