Trash Collection Cancelled Tuesday In Northampton Due To Snow

The incoming snow storm has impacted trash service Tuesday in Northampton.

J.P. Mascaro has announced there will be trash collection on Tuesday, March 14 due to the impending snowstorm. All trash collection for the remainder of this week will move forward one day, according to information from the township.

A Winter Storm Warning has been issued and as much as two feet of snow could fall across Eastern Pennsylvania, the National Weather Service says. The storm, due to arrive late Monday, will also have strong winds. Snowfall rates of one to two inches per hour late Monday night and Tuesday morning are possible.
