Tri-Township 12u battles to 3-3 tie in 7 innings

The warmth may be a week out but Tri-Township is showing that are ready for the baseball season as the tie host Warminster 3-3 in 7 innings. The game featured multiple lead changes. as the teams entered the 6th, Tri-Township was down 2-1, but then mustered a couple runs to take a 3-2 lead. Warminster would not rest easily and came back with a homer in the bottom of the 6th to tie. One more inning of scoreless baseball, and then the game was called.

Pitchers Jon Brezeziki threw 3 innings of 2 run baseball and Reese Acord struck out 10, gave up 1 run in 4 innings. Colin Watson was the offensive stand-out as he was 2-2 for 2 with a double. The game was well played with solid defense and competitive at-bats up and down the TT line-up.
