Veterans Day Ceremony In Northampton Township On Nov. 11

Northampton Veterans Day Ceremony set for Nov. 11 at 2 p.m.

Northampton Township will conduct a ceremony at 2:00PM on Veterans Day, November 11th in order to recognize Veterans and unveil the Veterans Memorial Paver Bricks. The Veterans Memorial Walk of Honor will be in front of the Township Building, 55 Township Rd, Richboro, PA by the Flagpoles and Memorial Monument.

A Color Guard will be provided by the Marine Corps League Patriot Detachment who will post the colors followed by Hailey Brown singing the National Anthem.

During the ceremony four veterans from the township will be identified for inclusion in the ceremony and will be considered Honored Guests. These veterans will represent the following Eras: WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Iraq/Afghanistan.

Local officials were invited and the ceremony is intended to be limited in duration to approximately 30 minutes. Refreshments and snacks will be provided following the ceremony.

The paver program was put together by the Township’s Veterans Advisory Commission and consists of memorial pavers that may be purchased by or for a resident of Northampton Township or a family member that had served in the Armed Forces of the United States.
