
NORTHAMPTON, Mass., Oct. 21, 2013 – Walden Behavioral Care, LLC, one of the country’s leading hospitals for treating eating disorders, announced today that Angela Snyder Rowan, LICSW of Greenfield has been named Program Director for Walden’s Northampton clinic.
She will be responsible for all clinical and administrative oversight of Walden’s partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs for adults and adolescents with eating disorders. She will work with medical staff to implement program activities and treatment services, as well as oversee all office professional activities.
Rowan came to Walden from ServiceNet of Greenfield, where she served as a clinician, Intern Coordinator and Adolescent Dialectical Behavior Therapy Coordinator. She also had a private practice and was a clinician for the Child and Family Services of Pioneer Valley in Springfield. She also was a Victim Services Coordinator for The REACH Center in Hudson, NY.

Rowan is a member of the National Association of Social Workers and Dialectical Behavior Therapists.
She earned a bachelor’s degree from Bard College, Annandale-on-Hudson, N.Y., and a master’s of social work degree from Smith College, Northampton. She is a licensed independent clinical social worker and is certified in dialectical behavior therapy.
