Whiz Kid: Nicholas Trivelis, Eagle Scout

Holland resident Nicholas Trivelis, of Scout Troop 147, recently passed his Eagle Scout Board of review and received the prestigious rank of Eagle Scout.

For Nick’s Eagle project he delivered 120 entertainment and gift packages of donated supplies and goods to the Yellow Ribbon Club in June 2011. The Yellow Ribbon Club shipped out these packages to the men and women of the US military actively serving in Special Operations units in Afghanistan. Nick also presented the Yellow Ribbon Club with a check in the amount of $673. The project completed one of the largest donation campaigns in the history of the Yellow Ribbon Club.

Nick (a senior at Council Rock High School South), along with the members of Troop 147, raised all of the funds necessary to purchase the supplies needed to accomplish his project.
