Yankees Win Spring-Summer James E. Kinney Senior Center Billiards Championship

Team Yankees won the Spring-Summer League Billiards Championship on September 18th during the tournament held at the James E. Kinney Senior Center.

The Yankees were captained by Charles Hellworth and beat the Mets captained by Pete Palestina in the final best of three round 2-0

League Commissioner Pete Palestina said the regular season league play started on April 24th and concluded September 18th after 75 games were played by each team prior to the playoffs for the championship.

The Fall-Winter league will begin play on September 25th and players had until September 13th to sign up. The league plays on Mondays unless there is a holiday closing in which case the games that week will be played on a Tuesday.
