Budding Authors is a new and innovative after-school program for 1st and 2nd graders.  Children will learn about the featured author, Kevin Henkes, through literacy, art, dramatic play and games. Author studies provide an opportunity for children to enhance their understanding of an author’s life and body of work while having fun. My goal is to encourage your child’s learning in a safe, nurturing, and happy environment.
