All too often in politics we focus on the negativity of the political debate. At the end of the day hundreds of dedicated public servants give up time with their family to work on our behalf while taking thousands of tongue lashings a day from constituents that disagree with them.
We think it is appropriate to thank Congressman Altmire for being a reasonable politician during his tenure in office and not getting caught up in the partisan bickering that dominates the news.
