Diatomaceous Earth

I have long known that this product promoted as a DIY bedbug killer was at best a weed and feed product. Weed out a few and they will continue to feed. Sad but true. The pictures included today are from actual job sites which DE was used by the home owners . A heat treatment was  preformed to eliminate their bedbug problem.

DE is routinely promoted as a stand alone bedbug killer. Sold in pint size containers  to 5 gallon buckets. Promising  bedbug elimination with little regard to outcome. Some advertising an implied message of being a food safe pesticide free bedbug killer. Some DE is categorized as a pesticide.

It has been written by others  "The important thing to us is that if an insect with an exoskeleton gets diatomaceous earth on them, they die. At the same time, we can rub it all over our skin, rub it in our hair, eat it .... whatever ... and we are unharmed."    Shameful

I have visited countless homes, apartments, shelters that have tried DE. It simply is not a stand alone or  DIY method to rid bedbugs from your residence.

Save your money , hire an expert  and put what might have wasted been wasted ($$$)  to good use.  Do a heat treatment  to solve your problems with bed bugs  www.brproservices.com
