Cycle for Life

Calling
all cyclists beginner to advanced! For a unique bicycling experience,
join us for the inaugural Aptalis CF Cycle For Life®. This
one day bike ride will take place on Sunday, September 15 and includes a
choice of two cyclist designed routes (30 & 50 miles). You can
cycle as an individual or gather your friends, family and/or colleagues
to join you as a team (min. 3 cyclists per team).




The ride begins and ends at Roselea Farm and passes through some of the
most scenic country settings just west of Pittsburgh. You’ll get to
experience rolling hills, picturesque farmland, lush forests all while
pedaling on cycle-friendly roads.




The Aptalis CF Cycle For Life® offers not only beautiful
cycling routes but a healthy challenge and good time for recreational
and experienced riders. It is also a way to help the local community and
the 30,000 children and young adults living with cystic fibrosis.




This premier cycling event is a fully supported ride and does not lack
the essentials that you are accustomed to on a bike tour. You bring your
bike and we’ll provide the rest!




Before the ride we’ll provide:




• Discount at Pro Bikes:15% off parts, accessories and clothing and 10% of a


bike purchase


• Training rides and events to help you prepare


• Online participant center to ensure fundraising success


• Monthly newsletters with training tips, fundraising ideas, etc.




At the event we’ll provide:




• Complimentary breakfast


• Stocked rest stops every 10 miles with food and refreshing beverages


• Support and gear (SAG) vehicles if you need a


• Bike mechanics


• On-site medical services




After the Finish Line we’ll provide:




• Commemorative long sleeved t-shirt


• Finish Line BBQ provided by Buffalo Blues


• Live entertainment


• Beer Garden (for those 21+)


• Free massages provided by Massage Envy


• Lawn Games




This unique event empowers participants to take action and demonstrate
their fight in finding a cure for cystic fibrosis in a tangible,
emotional and powerful way.

Participants under the age of 18 are not permitted to participate in the Aptalis CF Cycle For Life®. Bike helmets are required to ride.
