Details:

The retreat will be held from 3PM Friday, October 5th to 12:30 PM Saturday, October 6th in the Hyatt Place in Cranberry Township. The Hyatt Place is a large hotel/conference center located just north of the city of Pittsburgh.  This modern hotel is conveniently located just off of the PA turnpike at the Cranberry exit. The highlight of our family retreat will be the venue of speeches and discussions we will share together.

• Friday night we will enjoy dinner together as a group in the in an area restaurant – the cost for dinner is included in the registration price.
• Friday night we invite young and old alike to hear a speech given by Rev. James Slopsema of First Protestant Reformed Church, in Grand Rapids, MI. titled  ”Things Hidden and Things Revealed.” This speech will address the truth that there are certain things of God and His Ways that He has not chosen to reveal to us.
• Saturday Morning after the complimentary hot breakfast in the hotel our own Rev. Bill Bruinsma will give a speech titled “How Much Knowledge of Scripture Is Enough?” This speech will focus on what is necessary to know of those things God has revealed to us. Is the simple knowledge that Christ died for our sins enough?
• After each speech time will be allotted to discuss these subjects with one another. We hope there will also be enough free time to talk informally with each other about our concerns and joys as fellow believers.
• The hotel has a large pool and hot tub for those interested in swimming and relaxation. The conference room and different lounge area will be available for good old-fashioned visiting and conversation.

Registration Fees:

• Family Requiring 1 room $75 ($25 deposit required)
• Family Requiring 2 rooms $150 ($50 deposit required)
• Single Requiring Own Room $75 ($25 deposit required)
• Two Singles Per Room $40 each ($20 deposit required) 
• Three or more Singles per room $30 each $20 deposit required)
