Man Hurt In Tractor Accident At KQV Towers In Ross

An unidentified man called 911 after a tractor-pulled lawnmower ran over his leg while he was cutting the grass the KQV Radio Towers, at the top of Oak Glen Road in .

"It sounds like he suffered a broken leg," said Ross Police Detective Brian Kohlhepp. "He was able to call 911, so obviously he was conscious and alert."

Kohlhepp said the victim told first responders he was making some sort of adjustment to the mowing blades, which are pulled behind a tractor, when the tractor lurched forward, pulling the mowing mechanism over his leg.

The man's name and condition were not available.
