New Weight Loss Center Coming to Babcock Boulevard in Ross

The Ross Township  Board of commissioners voted 8-0, Wednesday, to approve the site plan for an office building renovation at 3420 Babcock Boulevard.

The Cape Cod style house on an 8,005 square foot lot is located right next door to Valiant's Diner .

"We're going to have Ideal Protein Weight Loss Center  on the ground floor," said owner Phil Rizzitano. "We are still looking for a tenant for the second floor, perhaps a yoga studio, and the third floor will remain a one-bedroom apartment."

Rizzitano, owner of A&N Lawn Service , said the building, a former law office, was in pretty bad shape when he purchased it in May.

"We lowered the basement floor, installed French drains, a new sewer, new windows, and we are rewiring the entire building," he said. "It will be a really nice property when it's all said and done."

Rizzitano hopes to have the work completed by the first of the New Year.
