Update: Police Suspect Medical Condition Led to Death Of Glenshaw Man Following Ross Accident
Victim was 51 year old Michael Simms.

Ross Police suspect a Glenshaw man who died following a single vehicle accident on Thompson Run Road Monday evening succumbed to natural causes.
According to the Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s office, Michael Simms, 51, lost control of his Ford F-150 pickup truck in the northbound lane and drifted into a tree near the intersection of Thompson Run and Miller Roads about 6:45 p.m.
Ross police Detective Brian Kohlhepp said damage to the truck was minimal. "Preliminary indications are that this is a natural death," he said. "There was no evidence of any apparent traumatic injuries."

Simms was taken to Allegheny General Hospital where he was pronounced dead shortly after 7:30 p.m.
The Allegheny County Medical Examiner plans to perform Wednesday to determine the exact cause of death.
