Valliant's Diner In Ross Damaged In Water Main Break
The diner sustained significant water damage on Saturday.

ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA — Valliant's Diner on Babcock Boulevard remained closed Monday, two days after a water main break on nearby Evergreen Road damaged the popular eatery.
The extent of the damage and how long the family-owned diner will be closed was not revealed in a post on its Facebook page.
"We will be closed for repairs," the post stated. " We will provide an update via social media and on our website for when we will reopen. We appreciate your patience and thank you for your support."

Open since 1968 (and originally called Valliant's Dairy), the building underwent a complete renovation in 1995 and reopened as a '50s-era diner complete with neon lights, gleaming stainless steel, turquoise and yellow booths and hot pink accents.
The diner's loyal customers have added to the decor by providing Valliant's with Marilyn Monroe posters, vintage model cars, black-and-white photos from the '50s and assorted diner memorabilia.
