ASSE International Exchange Student Program (ASSE) is currently looking for a host family in Western, PA who may consider hosting our student Clyde from South India. Clyde is 16 years old and a scholarship student in the YES program which is sponsored by the US Dept of State. He was chosen out of many applicants and rigorous testing and a student that stands out. Clyde loves sports and excels in basketball, football & karate. In 2010 he achieved the Athletic Award in his school. Clyde will arrive from India to Western PA shortly before school begins and return at the end of the school year. ASSE student are fully insured, he will bring his own personal spending money and expects to contribute to household responsibilities, as well as being included in normal family activities and lifestyles. “My favorite American cuisine is hamburgers, pizza and KFC. I have only seen America in pictures, movies and in my dreams. I am very excited about the opportunity to see and experience this country myself now.
