You Could Name New Ross Trail Park
The township is holding a contest to name the new hiking and biking trail park. The winner will receive a $100 gift basket.

ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA - Here’s a chance for you to leave a lasting legacy on the township: Come up with the name for the township’s new trail park.
The township is holding a naming contest for the park along Cemetery Lane. Entries are being accepted through June 15, and the person who submits the winner will receive a $100 gift basket.
Submissions can’t duplicate any part of the name of any other Ross park, can’t be longer than three words, excluding the word “park,” and can’t be vulgar or suggestive.

The 53-acre park is near the township public works building and West View, North Side and United cemeteries. Unlike the nearly two dozen other community parks in the township, the new park has no playground equipment and is exclusively used for hiking and biking.
