• Bus-only lanes will be marked in Oakland next week (post-gazette.com) — Overnight work next week will add red, bus-only lanes on Fifth and Forbes in Oakland, temporarily shifting several bus stops and squeezing traffic into a single lane. The new lanes, part of the University Line BRT between Oakland and Downtown, will open days later, with a 30-day warning period before ticketing drivers who use them. A former bus lane on Fifth will become a two-way bike lane.
