• Man Charged in Venango County After Allegedly Sending Lewd Messages to Young Girl (explorevenango.com) — Oil City residents should know that local police have charged a 32-year-old Crawford County man with corruption of minors and harassment after allegedly sending inappropriate messages to a juvenile girl connected to an Oil City family. The case, filed through a Venango County district judge’s office, remains in early stages with a preliminary hearing not yet scheduled.
