The cold front will slowly move through the region on Thursday through Friday morning with periods of heavy rain and embedded thunderstorms.
A slow-moving cold front combined with a tropical disturbance off the Southeast coast will lead to scattered to widespread showers and thunderstorms from Wednesday on through Friday morning.
A series of weak disturbances will keep the threat for an isolated shower in place for Saturday and Sunday.
Clouds will continue to increase with isolated showers towards morning.
A marine air mass will take hold by Friday and remain in place through Tuesday.
