Bomb Threat Reported at Easton Area High School
Palmer Township Police check building before students return Monday.

Last week, students at the Easton Area Middle School participated in a fire alarm drill.
But for students of Easton Area High School, Monday's alarms were a little more serious.
The school was evacuated Monday morning due to a bomb threat, the Easton Express-Times reported.
"Writing was found on a bathroom wall that alluded to a bomb on this date," Palmer Police Chief Larry Palmer said. "The school was evacuated and checked with nothing turning up."
A threat was discovered about 8:45 a.m. in the high school, the story stated. Students and staff for about 35 minutes were kept outside the school.
During that time, security, administrators and Palmer Township police and fire officials swept the building in search of anything dangerous.
