Easton Hospital Offers 3D Mammography

Easton Hospital's Health and Wellness Center in Forks Township is now offering 3D mammography.

The newest weapon in the fight against breast cancer allows breast imaging specialists to examine breast tissue in greater detail.

The technologys results in improved accuracy and a better chance at early detection.

For women, 3D mammography is very similar to the traditional digital mammogram. The difference is in the quality of the images, states information sent to area residents about the new service.

3d mammograms are available at the newly opened Health and Wellness Center in the Park Plaza at Sullivan Trail complex.
