Police Seek Car in Robberies
Easton police have released surveillance photos of a car they think is tied to weekend robberies. Might be same as Forks crime, too.
Easton police have released surveillance photos of a car they believe is connected to a pair of robberies in the city's downtown and possibly one in Forks Township.
The photos -- taken by Centre Square surveillance cameras -- show a car traveling south through the traffic circle. Police believe the car is a Volvo sedan.
On Saturday night, two men robbed a pair of people along Bank Street in downtown Easton and a man who was alone. In one of the incidents, one of the robbers fired a shot at a man who tried to follow them, police said.

Police have said the two men likely also robbed a girl in Wilson the same night, and may be connected to a holdup in Forks Township last week.
In both the Easton and Wilson cases, the suspects matched the same description: The gunman was a shorter, heavy-set black male in a red sweatshirt, while his partner was a taller, thinner black male in a blue sweatshirt or jacket.
