Police: Man Tried to Lure Boy in Palmer

say a "suspcious" older man with gray hair and glasses tried to lure a teenager into his car on Saturday afternoon, WFMZ reports.

The man stopped his silver or gray "boxy" style jeep, possibly a Cherokee, along Ridgewood Road and asked a 14-year-old if he saw his missing orange cat.

The driver asked the boy to get in the vehicle and help look for the cat. The boy declined and reported the incident to police.
