Strausser Enterprises is developing the Northwood Center, which includes the CVS that opened right after the new year. Strausser officials have said the new Sheetz would be the largest Sheetz convenience store in the Lehigh Valley.

"It could be open before Thanksgiving," Palmer Supervisors Chairman Dave Colver said.

The Sheetz project had stalled for several months as Strausser sought permit approval from the state Department of Transportation.
