YMCA's Firecracker 4-Miler Attracts Hundreds
13th Annual 4-mile race held at Fairview Park in Palmer
Runners and walkers took to the streets and bike trail around Fairview Park in Palmer Township on Fourth of July morning for the 13th Annual YMCA Firecracker 4-miler run/walk.
Palmer Township resident and Easton Area High School alumnus Rich Ryan was the overall winner in a time of 21:10. Meaghan Carlstrom won on the women's side, finishing in a time of 26:30, according to results published in the Express-Times.
Proceeds from the race entry fee benefit the Family YMCA of Easton, Phillipsburg & Vicinity's "Giving Makes-a-Difference Campaign".
