β’ Cannabis Startup Founder From Main Line Defrauded Investors Out Of Millions: Feds (patch.com) β A Penn Wynne resident and former cannabis-tech executive is accused by federal prosecutors of defrauding investors of more than $8.8 million and spending some of the money on personal expenses, including college tuition and club memberships. Authorities say 54-year-old David Dinenberg, founder of California-based KIND Financial, faces securities and wire fraud charges after allegedly misrepresenting the company's revenues, valuation, and prospects over a decade.
