• Don't let the blood supply fall: Give blood or platelets with Red Cross now (northpennnow.com) — Perkasie neighbors have two chances this month to donate blood locally: Sept. 21 at Perkasie Fire Company No. 1 on North Fifth Street and Sept. 28 at Upper Bucks County Technical School on Ridge Road. The Red Cross says supplies remain vulnerable after a summer shortage and is offering small thank-you gifts and e-gift cards to encourage lifesaving donations.
