Buck Landscaping Plans in Full Bloom

Skippack Township Planning Committee and Board of Supervisors met last Wednesday to discuss business as usual.

In a Skippack Township double-header Planning Committee/Board of Supervisors meeting last week, Buck Landscaping was given full approval for land development and subdivision plans for the new Buck Landscaping headquarters.

The plans for land development and subdivision for the property at 1254 Cressman Road were initially submitted on Feb. 21, 2011.

The Planning Committee had several concerns moving through the approval process that were all addressed by Buck and his environmental engineers at the H&K Group.

In other township-related news, a request was approved to rezone three parcels of land along Skippack Pike and Cressman Road. The board approved the combination of Lockwood Offices, the Square Dancing Barn and an adjacent vacant property to be rezoned from their current split zoning of limited industrial and general commercial to all general commercial.

“This is a good decision, it protects the neighbors from any  industrial businesses moving into the property” says Township Manager Ted Locker.
