Join Dr. Emily Sneff, consulting curator and historian at Historic Trappe and a leading expert on the Declaration of Independence, to learn about the content and context of the Declaration of Independence ahead of the 250th anniversary. This program is ideal for anyone interested in exploring the history of this important document before the Houses of Declaration public readings during Fourth of July weekend in Montgomery County and the Dare to Declare events throughout the summer in Chester County. Copies of Dr. Sneff's new book, When the Declaration of Independence Was News, will be available for purchase and signing.
