Don't Forget Your Lunch Box
Unique menu items and a cozy atmosphere define the new restaurant in Collegeville
If you've ever hungered for a peanut-butter-and-bacon burger, there's a new restaurant on Main Street in Collegeville that's right up your alley.
Occupying the former location of Blend coffee shop, the Lunch Box on Main opened their doors at the end of last year, featuring a handful of unique menu items that help round out the typical breakfast and lunch fare.
"We opened the week of Thanksgiving," said Stephanie Martin, co-owner of Lunch Box on Main. "Business has really been good!"

The restaurant offers several creative variants of the humble hamburger, including the caramelized apple-bottom burger, a cheeseburger with a fried egg layered inside, and of course, the peanut-butter-and-bacon burger.
On the breakfast side, adventurous patrons can order the strawberry cream cheese French toast, Belgian waffles with ice cream, or the peaches-and-cream French toast, which adds in vanilla yogurt, granola, and sliced peaches.

"Some of the ideas came from my sister, while others came from watching the Food Network," said Martin, who added that the peaches-and-cream french toast was her personal favorite. "We just take notes and try it."
Lunch Box on Main is open Tuesday through Sunday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., though Martin added that they may expand their hours to include Thursday and Friday evenings throughout the coming months.
Additionally, Lunch Box offers party trays and an in-house catering facility for private parties and business meetings.
