Half-Day/In-Service Planned For Nov. 11

Wednesday, Nov. 11, will be a half-day/in-service. Elementary school students will remain virtual and not report to school on this day. Students on the morning schedule will attend class synchronously from 8:40 to 10:25 a.m., and take part in asynchronous learning from 10:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Students on the afternoon schedule will do the reverse. There will be no specials on the half-day and no class activity past 12:15 p.m.Secondary students will follow the traditional half-day schedule, with the day starting at 7:50 and ending at 11:30 a.m. Class periods will be shortened to fit into the half-day and there will be no lunch period.Nov. 11th is a B day. Middle school students in Group 1 (last names A-L at East and A-K at West) will be on-site, and high school students in Group 2 (last names H-O) will be on-site. Secondary students who are virtual on the half-day may receive asynchronous lesson plans from their teachers for the half-day. Teachers will communicate with each class to inform them of their expectations for the morning.
