Perkiomen: Half-Day Planned For Sept. 23, No School On Sept. 28
Perkiomen Valley School District issued a notice to parents regarding scheduling for Sept. 23 and Sept. 28.

Students will have early dismissal due to half-day/in-service scheduled for Sept. 23. See below for information on the schedules. In addition, there is no school for students on Monday, Sept. 28, due to the observance of Yom Kippur. Starting Sept. 29, students in grades K-2, 6 and 9 will return to school on-site.

Elementary Half-Day Notes: Students who "attend" on an AM schedule will have synchronous activities online from 8:40 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. with asynchronous activities taking place from 10:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Students who remain virtual all year will follow the same schedule. Students who "attend" on the PM schedule will have the reverse, with asynchronous activities taking place from 8:40 to 10:30 a.m. and synchronous activities taking place online from 10:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
Secondary Half-Day Notes: The lunch period will be removed and all other periods will be shortened so the school day begins at 7:50 and ends at 11:30 p.m.
